Here at Rain Control Aluminum we love supporting the vibrant community which exists here in the Tampa Metro area. One of the ways we do that is by helping you, our customers, find great local events to go to.
And though tonight is Halloween, the ghosts and goblins won’t be around forever. Tomorrow more or less heralds the start of the holiday season. Here in Tampa, that means a ton of fun is on the horizon.
Here are just a few of the cool events you can look forward to this month.
On November 12th Game of Thrones fans can enjoy the Rave of Thrones concert experience. Actor Kristian Nairn (Hodor) will serve as a DJ for a dance party so fun its positively Medieval. You’ll find the fun at 1503 E 7th Ave…tickets are $25.
On November 14 our old friends at the Pinellas County Extension are going to host a “Sustainability Gone Wild” event. There will be a film, plus panelists, and both will be dedicated to helping you make your home and landscape more sustainable than ever. The fun starts at 6 PM at the Vaughn Center at 200 UT Poe Parkway in Tampa.
Love Legos? Then you’ll want to make your way to the Florida State Fairgrounds on November 19 and 20. If you do, you’ll be just in time for Brickworld, a 45,000 square foot Lego exposition. Tickets are just $6–a small price to pay to see the kinds of fantastic creations you might never have imagined before.
But of them all, the Winter Village is perhaps the most anticipated event of the season. It kicks off on November 18 and continues all the way to Christmas. Curtis Hixon park gets transformed into a true winter wonderland to celebrate the holiday season. There’s even an ice rink…and admission is free! You’ll kick yourself if you don’t get out there at least one weekend…I know several of my guys are planning on bringing their families almost as soon as it opens.
And really, all of this is just the tip of the iceberg. We love living in this area…there’s always something amazing going on.
How about you? What events are you looking forward to this holiday season?
